QUALIFYING FOR LONG TERM CARE BENEFITS

Long Term Care policies will pay benefits when one of the following occurs:

• You need help with at least two of six Activities of Daily Living and it is expected that you will need help for at least 90 days. The Activities are: bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, continence and transferring.

• You need help because you may have a severe cognitive impairment, for example, Alzheimer’s disease.
