THE LONG TERM CARE PROCESS

Once you’ve decided to investigate LTCI, we suggest you make an appointment with one of our experienced Long Term Care specialists. You are welcome to come to our office in Lincolnwood, Illinois, or we’d be happy to come to you if that’s more convenient. The purpose of the first visit is strictly educational. We will discuss the various options and companies and go over pricing. If you feel that this is something that you want to apply for, then we will make a second appointment where we will give you our recommendations.

The process for getting you approved takes approximately 4 to 8 weeks. We will go through the paperwork with you, where you will authorize your doctor to release medical information. If you are insurable, then the company will issue you a policy, which we will personally deliver and review with you. At that point we will answer your questions, make sure you fully understand the provisions of your policy, and make any changes you may desire.

If in the future should you need to make a claim, have any questions or concerns about your coverage, or should a change in your circumstances require a change in your policy, we will be there to assist you.
